Well, today I found out exactly what a client thought of me. Like all lawyers, my boss prints out all email correspondence from clients, whether important or inconsequential, and files them. I see this message from a client in the file:
“[Boss's name], I understand you will be coming over with your trained seal.”
Yes, yes, I am very low on the food chain. Thanks for reminding me. I am trying hard to think of the legal equivalent of spitting in his food.
